Our History

The story of Domaine des Gravennes begins in the heart of the Rhône Valley, in Suze la Rousse, in the middle of the 19th century . At that time, while the Belle Époque was in full swing, Alphonse Pradelle set about planting the first vines on his land.

The pioneers

In the 1960s , his son Raphaël and his wife Marie-Louise took over and breathed new life into the family business. The estate was already cultivating all its vines organically, without fully realizing it.

The rise

In 1996, their daughter Bernadette Bayon de Noyer and her husband Jean returned to the estate and founded Domaine des Gravennes. They replanted vines, invested in equipment, and modernized the winery. This is how Domaine des Gravennes experienced a real boom. Today, the fourth generation continues the family adventure.

The New Breath

In 2011 , Luc was the first to return to the "House" after gaining extensive winemaking experience across four continents. Four years later, his older brother Rémi , driven by a passion for vines and wine, left his engineering career to return to his childhood home in Provence. As independent winemakers, they continue the family tradition together, upholding strong values: protecting the terroir and the environment, fostering a convivial atmosphere, and a constant pursuit of balance and elegance.
